More valuable to me than the countless hundreds spent, is your handwritten card.

I am terrified and lucky to have found love.

"She’s not like that now, she knows better. She knows that people lie, and promises can be broken as quick as they are made. She understands that she might never be loved, and too quickly good things fly in front of your eyes before you can reach out and grab them. She knows that you can’t change or help time, so every now and then it will just run out. There isn’t a place for everyone in the world, so if you’re standing alone for a while - that’s why. Not everything in life comes easy, but when you work the hardest, that’s when it’s the best. You can’t always expect people to care, and even when your best friends stab you in the back, don’t think for one minute that they didn’t already aim for your front. They missed for a reason. She has found out too soon that in the end, you’re your own best friend. Everyone will be broken at some point in their life and more often than not, it’s going to hurt like hell. But you can’t stop it. You can’t change your fate. Some things are meant to be and all the pain you go through will end up resulting in something huge. You don’t know what it is and when it happens it will hit you like a ton of bricks. At some point, when you have experienced everything you can, the words “life” and “risk” won’t mean anything to you anymore. But don’t try and change that. Stuff like that is meant to happen. Certain things no longer have an affect on you over time. That happens because that’s the way it’s supposed to be. But you’ll learn that later in life when little things like a sunrise or a spring rain start to matter. But it might catch you off guard and happen sooner. I mean, ask her. She knows."

“There’s good in all of us and I think I simply love people too much, so much that it makes me feel too fucking sad.”
—Kurt Cobain’s suicide note

You know what they say about worrying?

Dont.

Nothing is ever really lost, or can be lost, No birth, identity, form—no object of the world. Nor life, nor force, nor any visible thing; Appearance must not foil, nor shifted sphere confuse thy brain. Ample are time and space—ample the fields of Nature. The body, sluggish, aged, cold—the embers left from earlier fires, The light in the eye grown dim, shall duly flame again; The sun now low in the west rises for mornings and for noons continual; To frozen clods ever the springs invisible law returns, With grass and flowers and summer fruits and corn.
Walt Whitman

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment.

looking forward.

1. I am thankful for my family, who is supporting, nurturing, and loving. After the many changes this year, we still remain.
2. I am thankful for having sisters who are caring, selfless, that encourage me to love myself, and who give me strength.
3. I am thankful for every luxury I am able to afford, from clothes and shoes, to this house and who made it home, and to all the opportunities I have taken this year.
4. I am thankful for my good health, that I am able to run, see, love, lift and hold perfectly.
5. I am thankful for work, which has taught me responsibility, and to indulge in myself.
6. I am thankful for the education I have gained through teachers, professors, and experiences.
